I am the step above hobbyist and below professional – I photograph because I love the way the light hits, the way two people are looking at each other, the way the colors dance together. I photograph to show how I view the world – as a place of art, of beauty, of connection. Being a fly on the wall is my favorite way to shoot, no staging necessary. We all have different perspectives and ways of being and seeing, my photography captures others being and exposes how I am seeing.
