Hi!!I am Karli Renken - squish that together then abbreviate it too many times and you get Kraken.

I am a photographer, singer/songwriter, dancer, writer and avid doodler. Professionally I am a creative project manager with the chops of a strategist, copywriter and art director. These are all titles I identify with but I have 26 years of proof that I can do anything I put my mind to. I am a dynamic character who attacks everything I do with empathy and enthusiasm.

I create to make ordinary moments feel extraordinary, to express myself, to share how I see the world. Without the joy and clarity that art brings, my existence feels a lot more dull and a whole lot more confusing.

I am a San Diego native currently residing in San Francisco - I am obsessed with the ocean, bright colors and dogs. I believe you can find inspiration everywhere if you are open to receiving it, good work cannot happen without a little play and a little bit of compassion goes a long way.
